The questions we actually get from contractors sizing us up, cost, your existing suppliers, who can see what, and who's eligible.
Talk to us for current terms, we keep this deliberately simple rather than burying it in a plan matrix, and terms are still firming up as the founding member cohort fills. Whatever the structure, the model is built around passing through the same category volume, not taking a margin between you and the supplier.
No minimum term or exclusivity across categories. If a category isn't earning its place in your buying, you keep using it elsewhere, membership adds a second rate alongside your existing accounts, it doesn't lock you into anything.
We're positioning membership the same way established buying groups in this space do, built around a trade account with an ABN, rather than a personal or consumer account. If you're a sole trader with an active ABN, that generally qualifies; a purely individual/consumer account does not.
If you're unsure whether your setup qualifies, the fastest path is to ask us directly on the contact page.
Yes. There's no lock-in, so you can step back at any time. Your standard supplier account and pricing simply reverts to what it was before you joined.
No. You order through the same supplier, the same way you always have. Each member gets a dedicated sub-account tagged to the Alliance's negotiated rate, it sits alongside your existing relationship rather than replacing it.
It shouldn't, the sub-account structure is one suppliers already run for other buying groups, so it's a familiar arrangement for them, not a workaround. Your day-to-day contact and service stays the same.
That's fine. Categories aren't bundled, you use the ones where the Alliance rate beats what you already get, and keep buying everything else the way you do now.
No. There's no shared forum and no visibility into any other member's account, spend, or pricing. Each member's sub-account is segregated, the negotiation happens between the Alliance and the supplier, not between members.
We see aggregated category volume, that's what the negotiation is based on, not itemised order-level detail beyond what's needed to verify the rate is applied correctly.
We don't publish which supplier or brand sits behind a rate publicly, that's commercially sensitive to both members and suppliers. Item names shown on the site before login are generalised for this reason; actual member rates by category are only visible after you log in.
Hardware, tools & consumables, and refrigeration copper & plumbing are negotiated and live now. HVAC equipment, ductwork, and controls are categories we're actively bringing into scope as membership volume grows, see the full category list.
It depends on your mix of spend and specific items. Our savings calculator gives a quick estimate based on verified average gaps in the live categories, for an exact number against your own item list, contact us or log in if you're already a member.
Standalone and member prices are drawn from actual verified rate cards. Typical retail figures are rounded for illustration, a general sense of scale, not sourced from a specific retailer listing.
Yes, rates are renegotiated as aggregate membership volume grows, which is generally when they improve. There's no fixed term locking you to a rate that's since moved.
Head to our Become a supplier page, it covers what we look for and how the negotiation and sub-account model works from your side.
